Following a general meeting of the CSFTA and feedback from clubs, some updates have been discussed and implemented for the 26-27 winter league. A summary is detailed below, the official shoot rules will be updated in due course.
TEAM SCORING
- Teams will no longer be restricted to a set number of members – the top 4 scores from the club will count on the day
- If the club has 3 shooters or less on the day their lowest score will be duplicated. Note, only one additional score can be duplicated (ie, if only 2 shooters are present you get a maximum total of 3 scores)
- Clubs are no longer restricted by grade of class of shooter that can be included in team scores
- To try and make scoring fair:
- Open class shooters for team scores only will be limited to a top score of 35 – their full score counts for their individual score
- Sticks shooters no longer have a negative handicap and are treated as an AA shooter (no handicap)
- Positive handicaps are applied to A, B and C grade shooters as +1, +2 and +3 respectively
ENTRY COSTS
- Remain the same at £10 per shooter
